A popular trend is to factor pinstripes into the design - whether it be using ribbon, card or another embellishment, it is quite effective and draws the eye to particular parts of the invite, making the design more effective. Vintage style papers and designs are also making their way back into the designs with elegance and style in mind. Motif's are also being used as a sign of the vows taking place and whilst on the invitations the bride and grooms initials may be separate, on the reception menu and thank you notes, the initials are then inter-twined. Quite effective!
For small wedding parties a beautiful, sentimental touch is also for the bride and groom to be to sign the invitations personally, and handwrite the addresses on the envelopes. This may be time consuming, but is a great idea to reduce costs and to add that extra special touch!
